There are many everyday occurrences that drive us crazy. One of my major beefs is the still-widespread use of cellphones for talking and texting while driving. Never a day goes by that I don’t witness people passing me on the road or highway with their cellphone in hand communicating supposedly life-altering information about where they are and when they’ll arrive. The fact that they could terminate my life or the lives of others is beyond their comprehension. After all, they’re special and this call/message is important – more important than my life. I just wish I could taser the phone right out of their hands and leave their fingers too permanently blistered and burned to ever text again. No one is above the law.
Our friend Bob Smith sent this video that perfectly illustrates the situation. A movie theatre audience in Hong Kong was told upon entering the theatre that they could leave their cell phones on during the movie, which undoubtedly pleased them to no end. Watch for yourself and you might want to pass this on.

It happens here too, and for the life of me (literally) I don’t know why they need to do that. If they need to make/receive a call buy a cheap blue tooth gadget!! The tradies here seem to be the worst yet they’re on the move all day.
